So, the first workout was awesome. It was something I've never experienced before, being with a group of people all working out on the same thing. The morning was really cold and foggy and by the time we were done we all had little moisture droplets all over our faces, hair, jackets, etc. We started off the morning with a quick warmup, group stretching and then broke off into our separate groups to do our workouts. There is a running group, a beginning running group (mine) and a walking group. We got running homework and a preview of next week. This should be fun.
The rest of the weekend I did major house work and made sure and fit in some fun, fitness type stuff. Biking riding, playing catch, walking the dog and running around. It was good times. We've had a bit of a warm spell in North Texas and it's been nice. Well, I'm off to read my Complete Runner's Handbook and learn about running my first half marathon.
